聖ビルジッタの十五の祈り

主から示され、一年のあいだ絶えず唱えるための祈り

聖ビルジッタは、主が御受難のあいだに受けられた打撃の数を知りたいと長く望んでいました。するとある日、主が現れてこう言われました。

"わたしは体に 5,480 回の強打を受けた。もしそれらをたたえたいなら、15 の主の祈りと 15 のアヴェ・マリア、そして次の祈りを一年間唱えなさい。その年が終わるとき、あなたはわたしの傷の一つ一つをたたえたことになる。"

"これらの祈りを一年間唱える者には、次の恵みが与えられる。"

  1. He will deliver 15 souls of his lineage from Purgatory
  2. 15 righteous souls of his lineage will be confirmed and preserved in grace
  3. 15 sinners of his lineage will be converted
  4. The person who recites them will attain the first degree of perfection
  5. 15 days before death I will give him My precious Body, so that he may be freed from eternal hunger, and My precious Blood, so that he may never thirst eternally
  6. 15 days before death he will feel bitter sorrow for all his sins and will have a perfect knowledge of them
  7. I will place the sign of My victorious Cross before him to help and defend him against the attacks of his enemies
  8. Before his death I will come to him with My most beloved and dear Mother
  9. I will graciously receive his soul and lead it into eternal joys
  10. And having led it there, I will give it, with singular favor, to drink from the fountain of My Divinity; this I will not do for those who have not recited these prayers
  11. Know that whoever has lived for 30 years in mortal sin but devoutly recites, or truly intends to recite, these prayers, I will forgive all his sins
  12. I will defend him from temptations
  13. I will preserve his five senses
  14. I will keep him from a sudden death
  15. I will save his soul from eternal punishments
  16. He will obtain everything he asks of God and of the Blessed Virgin Mary
  17. If he has always lived according to his own will and should die tomorrow, his life will be prolonged
  18. Each time he recites these prayers he will gain a partial indulgence
  19. He will be certain of being joined to the choir of Angels
  20. Whoever teaches these prayers to another will have joy and merit without end, established on earth and lasting forever in heaven
  21. Where these prayers are or will be said, God is present with His grace
